THE PROPER DEFINITION AND ROLE OF EUGENICS
"Spirituality" as a category acts as an umbrella overarching a highly variegated field of belief systems. Some of these systems are contradictory to others; some are mutually unintelligible; others are more or less fundamentally identical – yet all stand under the same general categorical title.
"Eugenics", as a category, inevitably performs a function similar to that of Spirituality's: a broad variety of philosophies and descriptions are encompassed by the categorical umbrella, yet certain of these philosophies and descriptions stand apart or stand in contradiction or contradistinction to certain others.
Every deliberate attempt to reproduce is, by definition, "eugenics" in motion – as is every conscious effort to avoid reproducing.
When an African woman makes a conscious decision to marry a French "Caucasian", should this decision be vilified as deliberately racist against blacks, and should that woman be attacked as deliberately avoiding permitting pure African blood to persist "undefiled"? Is she a wickedly biased willing participant in a gradual genetic holocaust?
When any given man makes a conscious decision to have a child with an intellectually accomplished and financially secure female, of whatever type, is this choice to be excoriated as evidence of hateful, harmful bias against the two or three bipolar drug addicts who live nearby?
The selection process is natural. It is only natural that the pace – even the very character – of the selection process can and ought to be managed more attentively.
The objection from the fearful is usually given in the form of a short set of questions: Who decides? Will it not be a single controlling group? And why should any single group be given such power over the future of Human reproduction?
What needs to be kept in mind is that, whichever group ends up controlling Human reproduction, (and that will happen – one controlling group), they are going to be survival-minded. They will no doubt be intelligent and informed enough to know that even the dried carcasses of cockroaches can be boiled to make therapeutic tea (that is a fact).
There are no White (or Black, or Mongoloid) Supremacists in the highest ranks of the Illuminati. "Genetic supremacy" is not a racist quest, except in the minds of merely so-called but only faux "eugenicists" who are hell-bent on homogeneity, (which would be a genetic death sentence), and who enjoy no support or friendship except on the fringes of any given society.
The spread of Humanity – and other creatures – across the globe has produced a genetic diversity that must, and will, be harvested and concentrated: the temperature resistance capabilities of the Inuit and the Bushmen; the great strengths of Africans, Native Americans, Samoans, and Norsemen; the mental potential of a great number of ethnic groups; the genetic powerhouses that are camels, worms, cockroaches, tortoises, bacteria, and all manner of plants.
Eugenics is not – except only in the minds of those whose minds are too small to understand – concerned with weeding out those whose minds are too small to understand. It is a matter of outward-looking selection and creation, towards optimal survival probability.
That is, bias for is the method, not bias against. "Bias against" is the idiot racist's credo. "Bias for" describes the genetic treasure hunt.
Undoubtedly, the small-minded will resent that they may not be selected as optimum sources of the best genetic material. They will as likely resent that the attractive female, or male, sitting at the end of the bar, standing at a bus stop, or conversing via online messaging, declined to allow them to buy them a drink.
